Formerly incarcerated individuals and their children face countless barriers to education and success. They’re often relegated to the lowest rungs of the educational ladder, and their chances of reentry success are significantly impacted by their lack of educational opportunities.

This scholarship provides between $2,000 and $4000 worth of tuition fee assistance. Participants must provide books and housing with outside funds.
ELIGIBILITY
1. Applicants must be a formerly incarcerated person, or the offspring of a formerly incarcerated person that are planning to enroll in an institution of higher learning;
2. Applicants must have a G.E.D. or high school diploma;
3. Eligible institutions of higher learning include community colleges, vocational schools, universities, or any type of institution of higher education licensed by one of the several states, or federal entity.
